In the blink of an eye, life as I knew it changed on August 2023, when a dive into Lake Wylie rendered me paralyzed from the shoulders down. For over two decades, I dedicated myself to helping others as a radiation therapist, all while cherishing the roles of a wife and loving parent to my 18 year old son and 15 year old daughter. Now, as I grapple with the harsh reality of my own disability, each day becomes a testament to resilience and the unwavering support of my family as we navigate this new chapter together, finding strength in the midst of adversity.
