I am a 27 year old woman with Cerebral Palsy since birth from Saginaw, Michigan.
I am a 27 year old woman with Cerebral Palsy since birth from Saginaw, Michigan. Adopted by a wonderful woman at age 2, I’ve faced challenges living in a tough neighborhood. I experienced bullying from kids who didn’t understand my differences. However, the love and support of my family and teachers helped me navigate. Therapy has helped me almost walk but my insurance will stop paying after so much. I feel like a lose so much with time away from walking. This grant will provide me continued strengthening and independence.
