My name is Terasa Knoll. I am 28 years old. I was injured in a diving accident. I severed my spine at the C5 area and the doctors told me I was never going to walk again. I was really athletic before my injury, and I enjoyed yoga, hiking, and riding my bike. The lesson I have learned from my experience of being a quadriplegic is to have compassion for myself and others with disabilities. This grant would mean a lot to me. It will bring me great joy to feel the rhythm of my legs in motion with a bicycle again.
